Cheryl's articulate, down-to-earth teachings integrate power, skill and mindfulness. She will explain pose positioning in a straightforward and accessible way explaining proper alignment and introducing techniques that make them safe and beneficial. She will introduce sun salutations, a series of poses that will energize, stretch and strengthen your body and introduce basic poses and movements of Vinyasa yoga. You'll experience the feel of a typical Vinyasa class as you learn to flow through these foundational poses. Cheryl will offer advice on setting up your home practice. The practice will end with the resting pose savasana, to allow you time to relax and reset. There will be time for questions and guidance to explore modifications that work with the body. This class is open to all levels.
